Culture & Education

The Agrawals' cultural and educational giving includes Arya Samaj of Greater Houston, which brings Houston-area families together through Vedic education, cultural programs, family services, and community gatherings.

That support includes the community's DAV education programs: DAV Montessori & Elementary School and DAV Sanskriti School, which pair early education with language, music, and cultural learning for the next generation.

India House Houston

Community Support

Brij serves as a trustee of India House Houston, and he and Sunita serve together on its board.

The organization describes itself as a Houston non-profit community center whose programs and services are open across the community.

In 2022, Brij served as a grand patron of an India House and H2H Foundation fundraiser supporting free congenital heart surgeries for children.

Distinguished Alumnus / Mentor

In addition to their financial contributions, Brij has lent his time to UH in volunteer roles. He was a member of the UH Engineering fundraising committee and has served as a mentor to engineering students.

The University of Houston recognized Brij's contributions by naming him a Distinguished Alumnus of the Cullen College of Engineering in 2007.

Furthermore, UH has permanently honored the couple by dedicating the Brij and Sunita Agrawal Auditorium in Sugar Land in 2022.
